Activities for Over 50s

The Evergreens are a friendly group of over 50s that meet most Wednesdays 10:30am – 12:00noon, with holiday breaks for Summer, Christmas and Easter.

If you call in for a taster session you’ll be made most welcome. A wide range of activities are on offer – from illustrated talks and demonstrations to workshops and excursions.

Join us for our ‘Christmas Film Morning’ today. Let’s all indulge in a spot of nostalgia with a seasonal feel good film.
Jelly babies will abound!


7 December

Today we are booked to see the 1.30 p.m. performance of the popular pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ in the Gala Theatre, Durham. Come and join us for an afternoon of laughter and fun.

Tickets £11.50 each.

To be paid in full by 28th September.

Any transport would be at an extra cost.

14 December

Today it is our Christmas meal at the Park Head Hotel. Come along to our last gathering of the year as we celebrate together. The more the merrier!

Cost will be available at a later date and any transport arrangements required can be made.
