Using PDFs

This website may contain attachments which are saved as Adobe Acrobat PDFs (Portable Document Format) allowing you to easily view and print additional information. However, you will require a Adobe Acrobat Reader 'plug-in' to allow you to view the attachments.

You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website. Please note that the Adobe Access Plug-in enables vision impaired users to read Adobe PDF documents.

Note that visually impaired users who have difficulties reading the attachments on this website may wish to visit access.adobe.com which describes the accessibility features in the standard Adobe Acrobat application and provides information about additional products and resources.

Using the Attachments

Once you have 'Adobe Acrobat Reader' you will be able to access the PDF attachments quickly and easily by simply clicking on the PDF icons within this website, which look like this: PDF Icon

Each PDF attachments is accompanied by information about the 'file size' (in Kilobytes - kb, or Megabytes mb) and details of the 'number of pages' included in the attachment. Note that an attachment with a large file size may take longer to download if you are using a standard internet connection/modem. You should also be able to read a summary of the document before opening it.

It is possible to zoom in and out in order to read PDF attachments on screen, alternatively you might like to print the information for your own use.

Using Online Forms

Our 'online forms' provide the opportunity for you to contact us, even if you do not have your own email account. Please ensure you have read our Privacy Statement before contacting us via an online form.

To use any of our online forms (or surveys) simply fill in each of the required 'fields' either by placing your cursor into the boxes and typing the relevant information, or clicking on a radio button. Then click the 'Submit' button. Once your form has been submitted successfully, (if you have supplied an email address) you should receive an email confirming that we have received your details.

Don't worry if you have made a mistake; you can use the 'Clear Form' button to remove all of your details and start again. If you have missed out a required field, the system will display an error message and prompt you to fill in your details correctly.

General Information

This website has been designed to be viewed with a variety of screen resolutions. Optimum settings are either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768, but the site can also be viewed using other settings.

The site is intended to function correctly when viewed with a variety of the latest browsers (versions 5.0 and above), however, we also endeavour to support version 4.0 browsers as far as possible.

Personal Preferences

To assist with accessibility issues it is possible to change how this site looks by amending your browser settings on your personal computer (PC). You can amend the font, text size, link colours and background colour, to suit your own personal preferences using your browser's 'Preferences', 'Options' or 'Tools' menu.
