Tourist Information
The Tourist Information Centre is part of a huge network throughout the country. It aims to promote not only Bishop Auckland and Durham County, but the whole of the North East to tourists and inward investors. We provide up-to-date information on places to visit, events and accommodation, both locally and nationally.
Souvenir Shop
The Souvenir Shop sells a wide variety of goods, including local history books, walking and cycling guides and souvenirs. We also sell stamps!
The Tourist Information staff will be pleased to make your visit as enjoyable as possible and there are lots of free brochures and leaflets for you to take away.
The Tourist Information Centre is also a ticketing agent for Darlington Civic Theatre.
